1.8.1 thoughts

So far I really like everything added in it. Lately however it has been kicking me out of servers as well as any of the others there.

The reason it is kicking you out is either:

1. If you are using 1.7 it is either wars server or your internet.

2. If you have 1.8, barely any servers have updated.

Its my friends server xD 1.8.1 compatible and I'm running 1.8.1 :/ but that's not the point of the topic. What do you like about 1.8?

It's cool. I like how they made cows a lil more useful. Plus Endermen are SCARY! last thing I want to say about it is... Minecraft you Scary!

hey you guys have any of you been on the sever lately because i ant seem to connect and im not sure how to connect can any one let me know cause i really want to play on it

I don't mind the wait, besides I'm having fun killing every mob in my world and I set up shop in one of the villages lol.

1.8 is not bad, endermen aint even scary they always spawn behind me. Mineshafts good idea, ruins caves though. Hunger system is pointless. Worthless and pathetic.

The only thing that was good from 1.8 to me was sprinting and to me the blue spiders are harder then the Endermen. If the Endermen hit you and then teleported in a split second he would be a lot scarier.

but on the bright side I found the one type of spawner I have been looking for in my whole time of playing Minecraft and that is...

A double Spawner!

I actually like everything about 1.8. I agree, enderman are not scary, they are basically just zombies right now (that can teleport [no biggy {lol}]), but I support all changes to minecraft, I always have since coming into alpha and then to beta and I always will until it's the final version. The hunger bar in my opinion is great, it adds more value to food, it also nerfs the "insta-heal" factor of minecraft, which could be good or bad, and gives a reason for different kinds of food. If you think about it there is no point of having a cake when its easier to just kill a few pigs in the morning, but now if your low on hunger your going to need food faster, and having a farm is a good idea if you need to have a constant supply of food with no variables, but you might never find a pig then die! Also about dying, although right now it doesnt even matter if you die or not, (as long as you can find the place where you died), but with 1.9 levels will be useful instead of right now and all other versions of minecraft, when you can just kill yourself for health (or hunger). Anyway, its awesome!
