New World For 1.8?

I'm really looking forward to 1.8 and exploring it, but this world is awesome. I really don't mind but I think starting a new world would be best. I think I'll start a poll but ultimately it is the admins' choice.

You guys won't be able to play 1.8 though, You can't connect to the server when it is still on 1.7 and your on 1.8, although war can update. The only problem with that is only the areas that are not explored (which is very little) will turn into 1.8-generated land. Mobs and stuff will still be their, but everything else will be the same until we find new land. And new land is basically a new world. But anyway that is why I put up this poll.

If people want to explore and find rivers and dungeons then they can :/ it isn't to hard to run or even craft a boat. We did that for a total of 5 minutes and got near the edge of unexplored areas.

But it is basically a new world if you build over there, It is pretty far from the normal building area, plus you would be surprised how far Minecraft generates without you seeing it. If we build over in the 1.8 area, then that is the same as a new world. Also some of the plugins won't be compatible with 1.8 and that could lead to problems with an already effected world. We would have to wait for the new plugins and the old plugins might be wiped out such as money and stuff. And the server itself, it I'm not wrong is using bukkit which might not be compatible with 1.8 until a new version comes out, which would cause the server to be down.

We might already have a new world :/ the server is technically back up but I advise you do not go on it until an hour or to. War is trying to get the world back and it is currently in a new seed. ATM it will most likely glitch or not even be accesable but it is being worked on

yeah we are getting a new map on the old one there are entity errors and there is absolutely no way to fix that. but look at the new seed
